Immediate supervisor: Production Supervisor


The incumbent ensures that production runs smoothly, in strict compliance with quality standards at various workstations.


Education, experience, knowledge, and skills

  • Secondary diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a production department; experience in the food industry, a significant asset
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Languages: Working knowledge of French and/or English

Work conditions

  • Work in a production plant —hairnet, smock, and waterproof safety boots required
  • Ability to lift 25 kg
  • Occasionally required to work at the other plant


  • Operate one of the workstations between the beginning and end of the production line
    • Supply the production line with the required packaging materials
    • Inspect products
    • Check weights
    • Label products
    • Pack products
    • Palletize products
  • Transfer finished products to the warehouse
  • Execute the daily cleaning plan
    • Clean equipment, washrooms, floors, cafeteria, etc.
  • Carry out other cleaning duties according to an established schedule
  • Take garbage bins outside
  • Follow instructions issued by quality control staff and make the required modifications, with the supervisor’s support
  • Notify supervisor and quality control staff of any discrepancies
  • Comply with all occupational health and safety regulations
  • Replace as needed: another position on the production line
  • Perform other related tasks
